Good News: I have included the special texture
support into the wrapper, and according to a test
by JW, this modified version is now able to run
Ignition/Bleifuss Fun (and should be able to run
the Motorhead demo, too - not tested) on a
4MB card (Stealth II in his case)
Not so good news: Of course, if you run games
in this mode, the paletted textures look very
ugly compared to full color support - 8 bits
(RGB 332) are definitely a bit too few....
Of course, it all depends on your imagination, then...
Even worse news: JW tested the full retail
version of Motorhead, and it does not work
with the wrapper. There is a problem, and
I hope to be able to fix it really soon,
but I don't have the full version of Motorhead
for testing....very cumbersome to debug then...
By the way: where are all beta testers???
